Ema Datshi, this dish became a super sensation when Deepika Padukone spoke about it. My sister introduced the video to me, and the recipe instantly took my heart. It’s a Bhutanese recipe, Bhutan’s national dish to be exact, and as a part of Bhutanese cuisine, it has an extensive hand over the chilies. The natural climate of the country supports various chili cultivation leading it to a spicy and flavorful cuisine.
Ema Datshi consists of two main ingredients; Ema and Datshi, Chili and Cheese. The salty and creamy taste of Datshi and the spicy taste of Ema make a perfect combination. It tastes best in the winter. But I chose a rainy day to prepare the food in my kitchen.
Let’s see how you too may prepare this in your kitchen.
Ingredients:
Capsicum – 1 Nos. (julienned)
Green Chilies – 3 Nos. (slit)

Now put the wok on the medium flame.
Lid it.
Let it get cooked for 10 minutes.
