Crepes are too good to go for breakfast. But, to make it gluten-free you need to tweak it a bit. To maintain the overall health sometimes I opted for a gluten free crepe recipe. It’s gram pulse crepe precisely.
Let’s see how you too can prepare this.
Ingredients:
Split Gram Pulse – 1 Cup
Ground nut – 2 Tablespoon (peeled and roasted)
Salt – To taste
Clarified butter – to shallow fry
Curry leaves – 2 Stems
Black mustard – ½ Teaspoon
Ginger – ½ inch (finely chopped)
Oil – ½ Teaspoon
Procedure:
Soak the split gram pulse overnight.
Take a blender.
Add gram pulse and groundnut.
Add adequate water to make a smooth paste.
Add the ginger and salt.
Now take a different pan for tempering.
Heat oil in the pan.
Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Let it sputter for a while.
Now transfer the tempering into the pulse batter.
Combine well.
Now take a skillet.
Grease it with clarified butter (ghee).
Take a ladleful of the batter. Spread it evenly on the skillet.
Let it be done from the bottom. Spread some clarified butter from top.
Now once one side is done, flip the crepe.
Let it get done from the other side too.
Serve it with tomato ketchup.
Conclusion:
Unlike other flour crepes, it’s gluten free. So feel free to grab as many you want this in the breakfast. This gluten free crepe recipe is pure treat to health, plus gives a bright mood in the morning.
