Fresh Lemongrass Tea

Winter is slowly surging to the northern hemisphere. Mornings have become lazy. In these not-so-aggressive mornings, my day gets a kick start with raw Assam tea along with lemongrass. You may call it my secret lemon grass tea recipe, which I simply cherish in this not-so-very cold, neither hot season. It’s refreshing and gives my mood a reason to start my day afresh.

Let’s see how you too may prepare this lemon grass tea recipe in your kitchen.  

 Ingredients:

Water – 2½ Cups

Lemon grass – 1 teaspoon (chopped)

Honey – 2 Teaspoons

Tea leaves – ¼ Teaspoon or lesser depending upon how much strong you want your tea to be

 

Procedure:

Take a pot where you want to make your tea.

Add water.

Bring it to a boil.

Now add the lemon grass.

Let it boil for a while.

Let the fragrance of lemon grass mix well with water.

Now strain it to the cups.

Mix honey (1 teaspoon per cup)

This recipe serves two cups.

This recipe offers 2 cups of tea.
