My grandmother used to say that if you want to bite water, bite a piece of watermelon. Truly, in the summer when alone water can’t hydrate you, watermelon is a juicy option to keep you cool from inside. It was the Egyptians who harvested the first batch of watermelon 5000 years back. Today, we have over 1200 varieties of watermelon across 96 countries globally. My husband brought a large-sized watermelon home seeking something sassy. And so this watermelon lemonade recipe popped up in my mind. I had this once at a fruit juice stall long back. Thought of preparing it by recalling the taste. The result really amazed me. And so it did to my husband.

Ingredients:
Watermelon – ½ (large size, seeded and cubed)
Lemon Squash – 4 Tablespoon
Lemon juice – 1 Teaspoon
Mint leaves – 10 Nos.
Rock Salt – ¼ Teaspoon
Black pepper – ¼ Teaspoon
Drinking soda – 300 ml (chilled)
Lemon – 1 No. (chopped, for serving)
Mint leaves – A few (for serving)
Watermelon cubes – A few (for serving)
Procedure:
Blending:
Take a blender and put the watermelon cubes in it.
Add lemon squash, milt, lemon juice, rock salt, and black pepper.
Blend well.
Serving:
Take the serving glasses.
Put some chopped lemon, mint leaves, watermelon cubes.
Half fill the glasses with chilled drinking soda.
Pour the blended watermelon mix into the glass.
Your watermelon lemonade is ready to serve.
